The Holiday Dove of Peace

Every year around the year-end holidays, Accessible Arts does workshops with several groups of children with this special season in mind. One piece of art is selected by our staff for our holiday appeal. Small gifts are given to the children, with a special gift for the artist selected.

Art that was selected this year was a colorful dove done with orange, green and gold magic marker, with strips of ribbon on the wings in a colorful design of purples, black and gold that looks almost three-dimensional. The artist was Cardell Miller at Operation Breakthrough.

The arts offer unique opportunities for learning, healing and self-expression. We invite our friends and visitors to our website to participate with us by including the children in your holiday giving with a a conribution that will assist us in continuing this worthwhile mission.
