Garden City - Exploring Art for SW Advocacy Coalition (SWAT), sponsored by Families Together, March 17 at 6:30 pm. We will do a variety of theatre, music activities and a simple visual arts project. 6:30 pm at Families Together facilities. The preregistration fee is $75. Contact Tammy Schwindt at 620/276-6364. Arts Integration in the Core Curriculum-with Adaptations for Children with Disabilities. This teacher training workshop is currently planned for March 17 from 4:00-5:15. For more information, call 913.281.1133. Jellybean Student Workshops will be presented on 'Disability Awareness through Music and Movement'. Three workshops will be presented March 17, 11:00 am - 3:15 pm and two workshops on April 18, 11:00 am - 1:45 pm, at the Charles O. Stone Intermediate Center, 401 N. Jennie Barker Rd. Drums - April 25-27, 2003, Friday evening through Sunday afternoon.
A weekend of hands-on music and dance workshops exploring the arts, history,
customs, and food of Hmong, West African, Native American, Mexican, and
Caribbean cultures. For children ages 7-16 of all abilities and disabilities.
The cost is $35, and a few scholarships are available. Refer, also, to

and under Archives - Spring and Fall 2001 Newsletters.
A
free public performance culminates the program 3:30 - 5:30 pm on Sunday.
