Please join us for “Accessible Arts Night” at the American Heartland Theatre. On Tuesday, November 4th, at 8:00 PM, Accessible Arts is hosting a performance of A Christmas Story, starring its very own Executive Director Martin English as the father.
Since it's debut in 1983, A Christmas Story has become a holiday tradition. This new stage adaptation captures the wonder of 9-year-old Ralphie Parker's Christmas in the 1940s and his quest for a genuine Red Ryder Air Rifle. Faced with the constant warning, "you'll shoot your eye out," he perseveres amidst a collection of youthful "disasters" and familial flaps which only Christmas can bring. There's the neighborhood bully, the visit to Santa gone awry and the dare that results in a youngster's tongue stuck to a lamppost. It's a touching, lovable, evening of heartfelt humor, warmth and joy. A holiday treat for the whole family.

The American Heartland Theatre is accessible and is located in Crown Center. There are limited seats available so please call Accessible Arts at (913) 281-1133 and make your reservations today!
